"Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" - 2nd Peter 1:1 (KJV)The one revered as the rock upon which the church was built1 addressed his letter's recipients as those who obtained faith, literally, "of equal value or honor" as his own.
There are no superstars in Christ no matter the age or position. We each have equal footing, equal value, equal weaknesses. Each are to be respected for that faith but opposed when errant2 . We, all, live by God's righteousness available in the life of Jesus, the Christ.
