"Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;...I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me." - Jesus (John 17:20, 23 KJV)If I believe Jesus' words then I believe God loves me with the same degree and intensity He loves Jesus.
Somehow it is easier to believe the Father loves Jesus than to believe He love me that same way. Choosing to believe what Jesus said puts a different perspective on difficulties; not as random or perverse antics of life, but purposed opportunities intended, with God's help, as ultimate blessings.
